VITAMIN-A
Vitamin-A Is required for the Proper development & functioning of our eyes, skin, immune system, & many other parts of our bodies.
Some people take vitamin A by mouth as shot into the muscle for treating vitamin A deficiency. It is also taken by mouth to reduce complications of diseases such as maleria, HIV, measles, & diarrhea & to improve growth, in children with vitamin A deficiency.
Some women take vitamin A by mouth for heavy menstrual periods. Some women with HIV also take vitamin A by mouth because the Decrease the risk of transmitting HIV to the baby during pregnancy, childbirth or brest feeding.
*USES & EFFECTIVENESS: -
1) Vitamin A deficiency can occur in people with protien deficiency, diabetes, over -active thyroid, fever, liver diseases, cystic fibrosis, their are many causes.
2) POSSIBLY EFFECTIVE FOR :- 1) Breast cancer
2) Cataracts:- Means people consume high amount of vitamin A in their diet than lower risk of developing cataracts.
3)Measles:- Means decrease the death in children with measles & vitamin A deficiency.
4)Diarrhea after giving birth
5)Pregnancy -related death
6)Pregnancy -related nightvlindness
7)Eye diseases some as retina issue.
3) POSSIBLY INEFFECTIVE FOR: -
1) Breathing problems
2)Gastrointestinal side effect for chemotherpy.
3)Type of skin cancer called as melanoma.
4)Tuberculosis:- low levels of vitamin A are common in people with tuberculosis.
